Can you believe this transformation? f you’d like to see how this garden started out, take a look at our previous post about it here.

The timber screening around the garden with new gate and Photinia hedge are so smart. The staggered porcelain pathway to the front door looks great against the black ice gravel that surrounds the rest of the garden. Lavender has been planted in the new border around the bay window, with white Hydrangeas along the far edge.

We have planted Bamboo – Phyllostachys bissetii in three large corten steel planters next to a new timber bin store with Sedum green roof. The Acer in the middle of the garden is surrounded with the same edging that goes around the borders, and makes a fantastic focal point.

We planted a mixture of Sedums on top of the bin store. These are drought tolerant and will thrive in this position. The bin store makes the garden less cluttered and keeps it looking nice and tidy.

The timber screen and Photinia now provide a good back drop as well as giving privacy and security for this family’s home. I will be lovely to see the plants grow and develop with colourful blooms next year.
