This area in front of the shed was weedy and made it difficult for her to get to the shed door. We constructed a small patio with a border which she is keen to plant up in the spring time.

A fair amount of soil was removed from the garden, but we also kept some to be used to infill the new red brick borders. We had good access on this job, with a decent sized lane at the back of it, making deliveries and waste removal easy.

The red, reclaimed bricks that the boys used to create this look really smart and blend in well with the garden shed. It is now easy for our elderly customer to get to her shed, and the raised border will make it easier for her to plant, as she won’t have to get down too low.

Our customer was so pleased with this patio area that she decided to have another raised border down near the back of the house. The boys cracked on to finalise this project. Trenches were dug for the footing of the new border. Soil was dug out – some was kept to infill at the end of the job.

More reclaimed bricks were brought in and stacked up ready to build this new element of the garden. We are sure that our customer will enjoy planting these new areas. We are pleased that she will have a nice view of flowers from her kitchen window this summer time.
