When we arrived it didn’t look like any effort had been put into this outdoor space for many years. Jerry and Sam quickly got to work removing the sparse vegetation and any remaining turf. The gravel that was in situ was used within the base for the new patio.
New drainage channels were laid to assist with rain water run off, with more ballast being brought in so that the patio would be the correct level.
Once the paving started going down, this project started to take shape. We had a pretty rainy week, so that was something to contend with, but the team worked hard to get this garden design completed in five days.
The new paving was laid on both sets of steps down into the garden, as well as a new section under the windows, for easy access to the new lawn. Along with the lawn, a new timber raised bed has also been added next to the hedge. Our customer is going to enjoy planting this in the spring.
We are so pleased with this design. It is in perfect keeping with the stone work and appearance of the house.
