Welcome to Our New Website

With a wealth of experience in garden design, hard and soft landscaping, planting plans and garden maintenance, whatever you require for your garden, big or small, we can tackle it.

After twenty years in the business, we decided that Secret Garden needed a beautiful, new website. So, after lots of work sifting through our archives, looking back on previous projects that we’ve enjoyed working on, we are happy to showcase a variety of different garden design ideas.

With a wealth of experience in garden design, hard and soft landscaping, planting plans and garden maintenance, whatever you require for your garden, big or small, we can tackle it. Every garden is different, therefore we offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your requirements.  Firstly, we visit you in your garden to look at how it functions, what you want to use it for or how you use it at present. Stepping Stones We look at the aspect and think about the location, to work out how much sunlight it gets, and what affects it; such as large trees or hedges, pollution, noise, neighbours etc. Maybe you want to attract wildlife into your garden? We can discuss options for ponds, water features, wildflower meadows (which don’t have to be huge!), green roofs and planting. Are you keen to grow vegetables or flowers? Maybe you want raised beds for ease of growing, with screening for privacy? Or a lovely patio to make access to your greenhouse easier? Water butts help reduce wasted water during the hot summer months that we now experience, and are always a great option if you have space to install one. Sandstone with Vegetable Garden Timber screening is excellent and cost effective to use as a fence on a boundary line. It offers privacy, allows air to move through and around the structure, as well as being able to grow plants up it. A smart and modern option. Timber Screening Perhaps your garden is quite small. We could think about using the vertical space to grow climbers and plants upwards. Or growing plants along under a stunning balustrade, which divides the garden into different rooms or areas. During our visit, we take measurements of your garden, to use for design purposes. We look at the access to the garden, to work out how easy or difficult it may be to bring in materials, tools and machinery. Timber Decking with Stairs and Screening Whatever your requirements are, our team are enthusiastic and hard working, and they love diving into new projects. Whether it’s constructing a patio, laying a stunning deck or planting a native hedge that’s beneficial to wildlife.
