Upon arrival it was just a lawn. The boys set to work removing sections of it to prepare for laying a wrap-around patio.
Sub base was brought in to create a solid platform for the paving. The large porcelain slabs work really well in this space. It brightens it up and makes it look larger and inviting.
Along with the new paving, some planters were brought in and planted up with sun loving plants. We returned this autumn once the lawn had a chance to rejuvenate from the hot summer sun, and were really pleased to see the final outcome of this project.
