Our customer has lived here for a few years and has been renovating the house, but the garden needs to be equally cared for, and modernised. Ali has created a full length, garden design, which incorporates new patio areas, lawns, a meandering pathway, a new shed, small wildlife pond, planting and a dog washing area.
The old concrete area around the back of the house including the shed is being demolished to make way for an improved area with easier steps. The boys started the demolition process on the rainiest day so far of the autumn. All of the waste and materials are going through the house, so it was a wet and muddy time, but they made quick work of it.

Once a large part of removal of the section closest to the house was done, posts were installed, which will have timber slats across them, to create a screen. A trench was dug near to the concrete shed, this will act as the solid base for the new steps.

They created a relay system through the house, with the boys bringing in and passing materials down to Jerry; such as ballast, which was spread out over the levelled ground. After a warm Autumn, the weather has finally become pretty cold. Storm Austin seemed to bypass Bristol mostly, though there was a cold wind blowing. The timber screening is giving structure to the garden already.
