If you didn’t see our previous post on this garden have a look here to get up to date. To finish off this project, the team carried through buckets of waste soil and rubble, which had been removed whilst we had been creating the garden borders and in preparation for the new flagstones.
We also took down the tree, added edging to some of the borders, and pointed the restored cobbled patio and the new flagstones.
It was a shame to take out the tree, but it was shading out the back of the house, and there are other large trees at the back of the garden to provide habitats for wildlife, shelter and privacy along the border.
This project has been a labour of love for our team. Starting with the intensive restoration of the stone walls surrounding the garden, to the landscaping and then the planting of the new timber raised borders. It looks so much lighter and refreshed. Enjoy looking through the completed photos below.
