Once the decking had been ripped out from the main section of the garden, the boys pulled up the old slabs that had been on top of the steps. They also pulled the old, wooden edge away from the front of the raised border, which was in a similar state to the decking.
A new timber raised bed edge was constructed. The low maintenance, evergreen Euonymus looked good on top of it.
The boys then began paving the rest of the space with sandstone slabs. The warm tones compliment the red brick of the house and back garden wall.
The paving and new raised bed really lift this space, making it look more modern and aesthetically appealing. This is such a great transformation for this garden. The family that live here will now be able to use it and enjoy it.
