From Muddy Slope to Landscaped Garden

We’ve been working on this garden in St. Andrews for a few weeks and now it’s nearing completion, which is quite exciting. When we started working on this garden it was steep and hazardous with rickety old steps, and needed a complete overhaul. A lot of old concrete has been removed from this garden.

If you check in with our previous post about this garden you’ll see how this garden first looked. We landscaped the whole site, adding raised beds with composite decked steps down to a lower patio, with an upper composite decking area. We have now added a sweeping path to match the lower patio, cutting through the lawn. A pergola may be added over the decked area in the future.

The new steps that enter the garden from the garage at the rear look beautiful, the grey of the decking complimenting the natural tones of the timber. Screening has been added on either side of the lower patio, which look stylish whilst giving added privacy.

When the raised beds are painted and planted along with the upper borders this garden is going to look amazing, just in time for the summer sunshine!

Check back in with us next week to see final photos of this completed Bristol garden…
