The timber frame is constructed as the base for the composite decking to be added on top, with a liner underneath.
Composite decking is low maintenance, slip resistant and provides a stunning finish. It is made of a combination of wood fibres and plastic, is durable and weather resistant. A more expensive option than timber, but highly worth while.
The concrete base in the top right corner of the garden is constructed, which will house a garden room.
A trench is dug around the perimeter of the upper garden, which will be used for a block retaining wall.
A breeze block wall is constructed for a raised bed, which will have a floating bench attached. Really looking forward to seeing this part of the design when it’s complete.
We are following construction government guidelines on social distancing and hygiene whilst working on site.
Joey works on the timber screen which will provide privacy whilst letting in light and air into the garden. It’s an inexpensive way of creating a border to your property, that looks modern and stylish. Plants can grow up it if required.
Come back again next time and see how this project is going!
