This has been George’s project from the start, being heavily involved in the reconstruction of the stone wall, including extensive work in their back garden, and then on to constructing the driveway, so this has been a very satisfying job for him.
Flo and I have enjoyed seeing his progress on this project, whilst we deliver materials and collect the waste. It has gone from a scruffy area to this beautiful space. If you’d like to see how it looked prior to this click here.
Along with the reclaimed flagstones and cobbles, George also laid new coping stones to the top of the low wall on the right hand side, plus a drainage channel along the front edge for run off, and planted three Magnolia stellata standards. We are making sure that these are watered as it has been so warm and dry for a couple of months.
