The boys have been progressing, constructing the retaining wall for the lawn, with concrete blocks, faced with red brick, taken from the garden and re-used. There will be steps going from the new patio up to the lawn.

They have also dug a trench for new drainage pipes, underneath the patio area. The new patio will be raised up to the level of the patio doors.

The retaining wall, faced with reclaimed red brick starts to take shape, as the steps are constructed.

Once the steps and wall are completed, it will be so much easier and more comfortable to walk around this garden. It’s great to see the process as they take on their form.
