Team Jerry have been continuing with this block paving driveway in Bishopston this week. Through up and down temperatures they have worked on the edging, drainage and laying of the main body of the block paving.
Sam took care whilst working on the edging around the border of the driveway that all of the blocks were level.
Where the perimeter wall had been partly demolished purposefully to create a new gap for the driveway, Will stepped in to build the end of the wall so that it was finished off nicely.
Jerry worked on installing a new, deep drain cover, that will be infilled with paving.
The edging around the Cordyline gives good structural interest. The block paving looks really smart leading towards the front door.
Whilst Jerry was working on the drain cover, his daughter Jess cut blocks.
This driveway isn’t far off being finished. Once all the blocks are laid, kiln dried sand will be swept across it to help it lock together.
