As this garden is quite shady, we allow a variety of plants to grow within the ‘lawn’ area. There are particular plants that will grow where grass struggles, so we allow things to self seed and mingle there way. Flo enjoyed adding some extra plants to the shallow planter, which has sedums and other sun worshippers.
This garden has a great selection of different foliage throughout the space. Leaves small and large, a variety of luscious greens. Thick leaves, fine airy leaves; it’s good to have textures, shapes and sizes of leaves that compliment and work with each other.
Climbers, small trees, shrubs, perennials all have their place in this garden, alongside a herb planter and a mini tomato greenhouse. Our customer loves buying plants, and the thought that she puts into it can be seen in her garden. There are interesting plants throughout, which really creates a joyous picture.
